ASUS has brought back all the features in the Zenfone 10 that people loved about the Zenfone 9. No indications of a “flip” model. As the Zenfone 9 got rave reviews by top tech websites and YouTube influencers, expect the same with the Zenfone 10. Slight tweaks but design and feel will be just as good as the Zenfone 9.
It does appear that Asus is planning to bring a Zenfone Go phone into the US market.When we say the word “new”, we aren’t sure just yet if this is a previously released Zenfone Go model or not.
The Go Series is the ultimate budget option and will safely be the lowest priced Asus phone.
The model in the FCC listing is X014D. We have backtracked a bit here and we see in some official Asus documentation, that the ZB452KG model bears the same ID number of X014D.
It does seem a bit peculiar to see a previous generation Zenfone Go coming into the US market. We can only speculate, but is this going to end up being one of the new Zenfone 3 Go phones that were recently unveiled during the Indonesia launch event? Stay tuned and we will update as we learn more!
Ready for another Zenfone 3 model? Asus just took the official wraps off the larger Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL) model and has posted an official product page, complete with specs and images.
First off, the ZC553KL has the same size battery as the Zenfone 3 Max ZC520TL at 4100mAh. Something to think about is the reality that the 5.5-inch screen will require slightly more power than the 5.2-inch model. That said, the ZC553KL is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor which in theory should be more power efficient than the MediaTek processor in the ZC520TL. It will need some side-by-side comparisons or course but those are going to be coming later.
Resolution wise, the ZC553KL has a FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS display with 450nits brightness.
We are going to break into a full fledged specs sheet and comparison in the next day or two. We can’t say which markets get this model but it’s clearly going to be slightly more expensive than the Zenfone 3 Max (ZC520TL) which is the cheapest Zenfone 3 model available currently.
In an article from Digitimes.com, the Zenfone 3 rollout will continue into October. If you’re country has yet to have an official Zenvolution event, here is a list of countries that are slated to see some officially Zenfone 3 pricing.

We certainly hope that the US market isn’t waiting until October for their launch event. Our hope is to hear some solid information regarding the North American launch schedule in the coming days. We are approaching mid-September and the main Zenfone 3 models have shown up at the FCC already. Based on the FCC dates, Asus would likely have the phones in stores by late September at the earliest, with pre orders starting very soon. This week? Stay with us as we should be one of the first places to break news.
Update: If you want the Snapdragon 821 version of the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, I just confirmed with an eBay seller that his listing is for that top model. I contacted the seller directly and I have been assured that they are selling the Snapdragon 821 version, Silver color. This seller ships to anywhere in the world.
This is what I asked the seller and here is their response:
Question: Hi there. I want to certain of this detail about the processor. There are a few different Zenfone 3 Deluxe variants but only one has the Snapdragon 821 processor. The 821 version has just been released as of yesterday I believe. Can you please confirm 100% that this model you have does come with that Snapdragon 821 processor.
eBay Sellers Answer: I am sure 6G/256G is with Snapdragon 821 chip. The phone had not be released yesterday. Asus asks for me not to ship before this week. So I will ship the phone next Monday or Tuesday. I will ship the phone by Fedex priority if you buy from me. Silver is in stock, but gold has not in stock till the end of Sep.

Asus has been able to be first to market with the snappy fast Snapdragon 821 processor (2.4GHz). It’s only available in Taiwan for now, but we are expecting to have news about other countries. Yes, we are hoping to have details for those of you in the US market!
So when it comes to the most powerful smartphone on the market, it’s going to be hard to be the Zenfone 3 Deluxe Special Edition. With this Snapdragon processor, 23MP rear camera (Sony IMX 318), 6GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.0 storage, it’s virtually impossible to find a more robust phone on the market today.
We have watched most Asus product events over the years and we must say that the Indonesia Zenfone 3 launch event was one of the best. The only thing missing was Jonney Shih, but otherwise it was a real spectacle. You can see the event on YouTube here.
Indonesia was greeted with a few surprises. We are talking about some never before seen or discussed Zenfone models! Some new Zenfone Go phones and a new, cheaper, smaller Zenfone 3 Deluxe (ZS550KL) model.
