When we say we’re 100% Zenfone content, we mean it. We might do some vs. comparisons to other known smartphones, but around here it’s Zenfone products all day, every day. Join us as a reliable source of the latest pre order news, photos and specs.
ASUS has brought back all the features in the Zenfone 10 that people loved about the Zenfone 9. No indications of a “flip” model. As the Zenfone 9 got rave reviews by top tech websites and YouTube influencers, expect the same with the Zenfone 10. Slight tweaks but design and feel will be just as good as the Zenfone 9.
We know from their previous innovations that Asus are risk takers and that they have the talent to produce great products. It appears that Asus has done something with antenna design that is going to change the industry. If they claim it as a “breakthrough” then it must be something special.

An incredible breakthrough for smartphone antenna design is coming
So this is interesting but at the same time we have no idea what they are talking about. Is the Zenfone 3 going to have the best signal strength? Best voice clarity? We can’t wait for Computex 2016 starting on May 30th with the Asus event.
Asus said they would be releasing three flagship phones at Computex 2016. We have been awaiting news or any extra information. Today is a day when we can look at the Z016D which has impressive specs based on a benchmark report from GFXBench.
Based on what we see, here are the specs:
Android 6.0.1
1920 x 1080 resolution
Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 @ 2.1GHz
Adremo 530 GPU
4GB RAM
128GB storage
23MP rear and 8MP front camera
This model may tie into a previous Asus Computex 2016 teaser GIF and was recently spotted on Antutu. The camera matches up and the “4” GB of RAM. With the large storage and high spec camera, this would be the expensive model that Asus CEO Jerry Shen talked about during the most recent investors conference call.
India has been a focal point for Asus over the past year. Making headlines now is the launch of the Zenfone Max into the India market. With a 5,000mAh battery, we’re talking about some incredible battery life. You can also use the phone as a power bank. Plug it into your other gadgets and you can charge your tablet, Bluetooth headphones, or other devices using the Zenfone Max battery.
You can buy the 2GB version for Rs. 9999 and the 3GB version for Rs. 12999. You can buy it from Flipkart, Asus store and other retailers in India.
Asus Zenfone Max (ZC550KL-6A072IN/ZC550KL-6M079IN) specs:

We admit to dismissing this Comptex 2016 teaser that Asus put out a few days ago. Check it out:
So we didn’t consider the possibility of this meaning 6GB RAM in a Zenfone 3 Deluxe phone. Even at 4GB, that seems more than enough. However a news story has changed out guess.
It turns out that a certain competitor in the smartphone space is set to come out with a phablet with 6GB of RAM. Yes, believe it. Nothing official but strong strong indicators. So because of that, we realize now that 6GB of RAM in a phablet may be a new trend in the world of cutting edge.
What we are hearing is that the 6GB of RAM can offer power saving and thus, better battery life. Interesting thought. We certainly know that 6GB of multitasking isn’t exactly crucial for a mobile phone experience.
So you think 6GB of RAM is exciting? Or do you think it’s overkill? Let us know in the comments please.
We’ve seen the first teaser from Asus featuring what appears to be three different phones. They are shown side-by-side at the end of the video. What we have is medium, large, and huge. So let’s talk about the massive phablet style phone that we saw in the video.
If you notice in the design, it has the Zenfone 2 styling with the volume rocker in the rear. The Zenfone 3 models show the fingerprint sensor where the volume rocker used to be. So the bottom line is the big guy breaks the mold of the new design. Why?
We believe it’s for one very fundamental reason. It’s a design decision. If you ask us, the smaller two Zenfone 3 models do not have a removable back cover. However the big model might just have the removable cover and the reason should be obvious.
The Zenfone 2 Laser had a removable battery. Did you know that? So when you’re looking at a device with a 6.8-inch screen, you know what would be really handy to have? A spare battery! A replaceable battery has been a popular and sorely missed feature from some other brands flagship devices. So it’s quite possible that Asus will come along and save the day on the removable battery feature.
So we don’t know if the huge 6.8-inch Zenfone 3 is a Deluxe or Ultra or Ultra Deluxe or Deluxe Ultra. We just know it’s huge. We hope that there is a removable battery. We also hope that it comes with stylus pen input. We are definitely excited to see it. How big of a deal is a removable battery to you?
