It does appear that Amazon.com jumped the cue by listing two Zenfone 3 models on their site just a day or two ago. Those listings are nowhere to be found at this time. It did seem odd that Amazon had slipped these listings onto their site and nowhere else were they being listed.
So now we wait. Most main countries have had Zenfone 3 launch events and with the Zenfone 2 launch, Asus held a New York launch event. With the date on the calendar it’s hard to say whether Asus has run out of time. Invites would need to get sent out and would require about a week at least to gain some momentum. It’s entirely possible that on Monday we will get some more official details from Asus regarding their US launch and in particular, the details about price and availability of their S821 version Zenfone 3 Deluxe.
