The Zenfone 10 is here! June 29th folks! We have started posting Zenfone 10 news and this is our first article of many to come! If you crave Zenfone 9 information, we have all the details including price and where to buy here.
ASUS has brought back all the features in the Zenfone 10 that people loved about the Zenfone 9. No indications of a “flip” model. As the Zenfone 9 got rave reviews by top tech websites and YouTube influencers, expect the same with the Zenfone 10. Slight tweaks but design and feel will be just as good as the Zenfone 9.
With TENAA listings, we are able to sort out the Zenfone 3 models that are set for a release date in China. We will update this list as we move forward but for now, these look to be the launch models.
Prices and availability are not yet known, but we will update with those details as we learn more.
We are a bit late to this party, but summer and holidays happen folks! That said, we want to profile each country that has seen a Zenvolution event with their official Zenfone 3 line-up pricing in local currency.
At the time of the India Zenvolution event the Zenfone 3 Max had not yet been officially announced. It will be the cheapest Zenfone 3 offering and should be priced at Rs. 13, 999 in India. A release date is not yet known but we are watching for updates.
If you are looking at these prices, be sure to make comparisons. The Zenfone 3 (ZE552KL + ZE520KL) are comparable to what the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone. The Zenfone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Max are still good options with solid specs and build quality for the price.
Things are certainly heating up when it comes to the release date for the Zenfone 3 in the US and Canada. Today we’re seeing a new Zenfone model X00BD. We are still trying to pin down which Zenfone 3 model but a best guess is that it’s a new Zenfone Go model. We are trying to track down some details so stay tuned!
Update: We can all but confirm that indeed this FCC listing (X00BD) is the Zenfone Go model ZB500KG. The Zenfone Go (ZB500KG) is a budget 5-inch smartphone which is likely coming with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The initial model was unveiled as the ZB500KL, so the difference would be 4G LTE vs. 3G.

There is a LOT of misinformation running rampant on the internet about 2 new Zenfone 3 models that just showed up on the TENAA website. This is the China version of the FCC. When a phone shows up on the TENAA website, it’s set to hit retail stores.
The misinformation is about these two new phones. Let us be clear. These models are the yet-to-be-released Zenfone 3 Deluxe (ZS550KL). We have proof below if you don’t believe us. As a point of information, the ZS550KL variant is smaller at 5.5-inches and is dialed back in terms of the specs. There are enough differences between the ZS570KL that it makes the ZS550KL a much different phone all together. The model number listed on the TENAA website is Z01FD.
There are clear indicators that the ZS550KL is listed on the TENNA site. First, weight of the phone along with the size. It matches everything Asus has listed official so far about the ZS550KL. The processor matches and if you want to compare the camera flash placement on the back, you can see in the photos below that the flash is on the left side of the lens whereas the Zenfone 3 (ZE552KL and ZE520KL) the flash component is on the right side of the lens. Further, the color options listed are as Silver and Gold which match the Zenfone 3 Deluxe.
On a side note, we have seen a “Z01FD” show up on the FCC website. We can’t say for certain if the US is going to be getting this dialed down ZS550KL Deluxe model or not, but it seems probable at this point.
We aren’t trying to make anyone else look bad. All we are saying is that we are able to dissect and ensure more accurate Zenfone information. A lot of the bigger tech websites do get a lot of information wrong, which includes prices. We have yet to see another website out there report proper information regarding this TENAA listing.

We recently posted that Asus is going to be rolling out the remaining Zenfone 3 events from now into October. Last week it was Italy, this week it is Russia. We have the official prices for the Zenfone 3 line-up in Russia, along with price comparisons. As you might expect, Asus has cheaper prices than the competition and although the Zenfone 3 may not be the value of the Zenfone 2, keep in mind that the Zenfone 2 was packing an Intel processor which was provided at a discount, thus allowing for a super cheap phone. Consider specs found on and in the Zenfone 3 series and then make a comparison to what others are offering.
